Conditions and Qualifications
- Central Sterilization Specialist: Bachelor's degree in Biology or Chemistry or its equivalent from an accredited university, with a valid classification and registration from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
- The sterilization specialist is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing and preserving surgical instruments and equipment according to hospital standards, and may lead the team in the absence of the head nurse in the unit.
- Consultant Infectious Diseases: Medical degree from an accredited college, Board of Internal Medicine (Saudi, American, Royal College or equivalent), and Fellowship in Infectious Diseases.
- Minimum 3 years of post-board clinical experience, consulting rating from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, and a valid Basic Life Support Certificate.
