The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties announced the start of applying for the (Optometry Technician) program that ends with employment
Admission Requirements:
- Saudi national.
- Not on the job.
- Bachelor's degree (with ID number) and its equivalent from the Ministry of Education and Academic Record, indicating the cumulative average if the certificate is issued from outside the Kingdom.
- Academic record in case the certificate does not contain the information of the cumulative GPA.
- If the certificate and academic record do not contain the ID number, please attach proof that the applicant has obtained the attached certificate from the certificate granting body or the Ministry of Education, indicating the ID number of the certificate holder.
- Pass the necessary medical examinations as determined by the employer.
- Any other conditions set by the employer.
- English language certificate for one of the approved tests: STEP 52 - Academic IELTS 3.5
Qualifications and Requirements for Employment: In addition to the above conditions (Admission Requirements)
The following: - Certificate of passing a recognized eyewear technician program or its equivalent.
- A valid license to practice the profession from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
- The practitioner must be medically fit.
- Computer skills and applications.
- Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
- Any other conditions set by the employers.
