King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) has announced the availability of job openings with the following titles and conditions:
1) System Maintenance Specialist
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or relevant field.
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of related experience working in systems maintenance and/or inspection.
2) Marketing Specialist
Qualifications Minimum:
Undergraduate degree in Marketing or related field with minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing or communications.
Strong English writing skills for business, technical and creative audiences.
Experience crafting product or program communications, including pitch decks, proposal presentations, sell sheets, etc.
Experience collaborating with multiple departments (marketing, sales, operations, etc.)
Experience with client management or consulting.
Experience writing and publishing social media and other communications messages including blogs and articles.
Working knowledge of word processing, desktop publishing, PowerPoint presentations software, database management, and spreadsheet applications.
Qualifications Preferred:
Experience working for a marketing agency, entrepreneurship program, or high-growth startup preferred.
Bilingual in Arabic / English.
Experienced in content marketing (blogs, audio, and video).
3) Staff Scientist
Qualifications
PhD degree in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, or similar field with demonstrated relevant expertise.
Experience
Essential
- At least 3 years of working experience in a biology lab.
- Expertise in Flow Cytometry, cell sorting and relevant analytical software.
- Experience with single cell technology, 10x preferably.
Preferable
- NGS library preparation and/or bioinformatics experience.
- Experience in supervising students or providing trainings in customer facing-roles.
